No, Firenzecard does not include city transportation, nor Volainbus shuttle from and to Florence airport.

 

No, Firenzecard is personal, registered to your name and cannot be transferred to third parties. Before starting to use it, you must personalize it by writing your name and surname in the relative field.

At the moment, Firenzecard is only available at one full rate. Discounts and/or reductions are not foreseen. Therefore, we recommend consulting the sites of the single museums that you intend to visit to find out about any discounts and free admissions.

In accordance with the provisions implemented for the containment of the diffusion from COVID-19, the museum offer and the same methods of access to museums with Firenzecard have undergone changes following the measures adopted by the individual museums. From 7th August 2020, card accesses are restarted, in the Museums section of the site, consult the museums that can be visited with the card, in particular the days, times and conditions of access: http://www.firenzecard.it/en/musei

Yes, it is possible but only if you have a VAT number. From 1st January 2019, the invoice can be released only in electronic format. To request the invoice, you must have a CID code (B2B recipient code, Revenue Agency) and a certified email address. The cost of the invoice is €2.00 for the stamp tax online.

The invoice can be requested by filling the appropriate form and paying the amount of € 2.00: at the ticket offices of the civic museums (see list below) or, in case of online purchase or by bank transfer, by writing to info@firenzecard.it . The invoice applicant must present the receipt for the purchase of Firenzecard.

You can purchase Firenzecard+ by adding 7.00 €, which includes: use of public city transportation (Ataf&Linea bus and tram) for 72 hours from activation for the holder and minors who are part of the holder’s family; 1 museum Guide; 1 Firenzecard+ bag; dedicated offers at our sales partners.

Firenzecard Restart is the card exclusively in digital format that allows you extending the validity of your expired Firenzecard for 48 hours. Firenzecard Restart can be purchased only if you have purchased Firenzecard in the last 12 months and if you have a smartphone / iOS tablet or Android with Firenzecard app installed.

¡ATTENTION! Make sure your device features the necessary technical requirements (iOS 10.0 and following versions; Android 5.0 and following versions – browser, such as: Chrome / Firefox / Safari, updated to the latest version available) before purchasing it.  

The fee of Firenzecard+ is 7.00 € per person. The fee of Firenzecard+ is always 7.00 € whether you purchase it online or at a sales point.

No, because almost all museums take a weekly break, hence they are closed one or more days a week. The closing days vary from museum to museum. If any closing day falls within one of the three days of validity of Firenzecard, the card validity cannot be extended.

The fee of Firenzecard is 85.00 € per person.  The fee of Firenzecard is always 85.00 € whether you purchase it online or at a sales point.

Disabled and their guide are entitled free admission to most circuit museums, with priority access. Hence, a specific card is not foreseen. Firenzecard features only one full-rate fee. If you are disabled, please note that you must bring and show to the museum staff, the medical certificate indicating your disability. Only this way you can enter free of charge and avoid queues. We recommend disabled persons to contact the museums they intend to visit.

If you purchased the Firenzecard by 6 August 2020, the validity of the voucher has been extended until 31st December 2021, if instead you purchase the Firenzecard from 7 August 2020, the voucher is valid for 12 months from the purchase.

The fee of Firenzecard Restart is 28.00 € per person.

People under 18 years of age can enter the museums free of charge with Firenzecard holders, belonging to the family of the card holder. If the minors do not belong to the same family, if they do not wish to purchase a Firenzecard, they can pick up the ticket free of charge to visit civic and state museums (e.g. Palazzo Vecchio, Cappella Brancacci, The Uffizi Gallery, Gallery of Accademia, etc.) and purchase the ticket for the museums which admission is not free of charge. For state museums such as the Uffizi Gallery and Gallery of Accademia, we suggest purchasing the ticket (4€ each, that can be purchased directly at the entrances reserved to Firenzecard), in order to enter from the reserved entrances all together.

Firenzecard is valid for 72 hours starting from activation when entering the first museum.

Firenzecard Restart is valid for 48 hours from activation when entering the first museum.

No. Firenzecard is mainly intended for single tourists or small groups and at the moment, there is no other rate other than the full fee or a card for groups. In many museums students and their teachers are given a free or reduced entry fee based on the age of the students and the type of school or academic curriculum. We advise checking the individual web site of the museum you intend to visit for the terms of entry both for groups and school groups.

Firenzecard Restart includes in its price the entrance ticket, the extra fee for exhibitions and booking of all circuit museums with priority access, that you were not able to visit with your Firenzecard.

Firenzecard Restart can be purchased only online at www.firenzecard.it.
To purchase it, you must enter:
1) the number of your Firenzecard that you wish to reactivate;
2) the email used to purchase the original Firenzecard online or purchase date in case of purchase at a sales point in the city.
Please remember that Firenzecard Restart can be purchased only within 12 months from purchasing your Firenzecard.

No, it is not possible to receive Firenzecard by mail. The card purchased online must be necessarily picked up at one of the pick-up points in the city, which can be found on our site. To pick up Firenzecard, simply print and bring with you the voucher received by email upon purchase and a valid identity document.

You can purchase Firenzecard online any time; however, please remember that the card purchased online must be picked up within 6 months from purchase, at one of the pick-up points in the city. After this term, it will no longer be possible to pick up the card, which will be non-refundable.

Payment can be made through VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Postepay credit cards, following the instructions indicated in the procedures described online in the “Purchase” section.

If you don’t remember the purchase date of your Firenzecard that you wish to reactivate/extend at one of the sales points, contact Firenzecard’s staff at info@firenzecard.it, providing all the information you have available.

Firenzecard+ can be purchased: online on www.firenzecard.it at the same time you purchase a Firenzecard, in combination with it; at Info Point Cavour, Info Point Stazione, Palazzo Vecchio ticket office, Cappella Brancacci, Museo Stefano Bardini, Museo 900, Museo di Santa Maria Novella, Museo della Misericordia. If you purchase it online, you can decide whether to pick up the physical Firenzecard+ at one of the pickup points listed on the voucher that you received after purchase or use Firenzecard+ in its digital version, by downloading our app.

Firenzecard can be purchased: online at www.firenzecard.it or at one of the authorized sales points in the city. Up to 10 cards, groups/ agencies/ tour operators can purchase them online at www.firenzecard.it or at authorized sales points in the city.
For purchases of 10 or more cards, groups/ agencies/ tour operators can purchase them directly from Silfi s.p.a., Firenzecard’s operator, through advanced bank transfer and free delivery of the purchased cards to the hotel, if located in Florence. In this case, the purchase of Firenzecard and Firenzecard+ is subject to the following conditions:

  • Minimum purchase of at least 10 cards;
  • Purchase request to send to info@firenzecard.it at least 15 days before the payment;
  • Payment must be issued at least 10 business days prior to delivery;
  • The cards can be delivered only within the City of Florence; from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at a time to be agreed when placing the order;
  • It is possible to resell the cards purchased from the tour operator to third parties, in exceptional cases, provided that the cards are sold inside the tour package clearly specifying the proper name of Firenzecard, characteristics of the service offered and price, as set forth by these contract conditions. The resale of cards at a higher price is not allowed.

Yes. If you buy Firenzecard at one of the sales points, the person who will use it must personalize it, writing his name and surname in the relative fields. If you prefer to purchase it online, simply enter the data of the person who will receive Firenzecard, filling out the items of the form that appears on the screen – you can enter directly the email of the person to whom you will give the card so that he can receive the voucher directly in his mail box – and entering your data in the following screens for the payment.

Use

In you have the physical Firenzecard+, in order to use public means of transportation, you must: Indicate the number of your Firenzecard in the relative field of your Firenzecard+; Validate your Firenzecard+ when getting on the first means of transportation; Keep your card intact for the entire period of validity and show it when requested, with a valid identity document. If you have a digital Firenzecard+, in order to use public transportation, click “Public transportation” to generate/display your digital ticket. We recommend creating the digital ticket before getting on the first public means of transportation.

No, Firenzecard is activated when you enter the first museum and is absolutely independent from the date of purchase.

Yes, for all the museums in the Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens complex, you must get a ticket (which does not entail any additional costs) at the Palazzo Pitti ticket office. The ticket must be shown at each entrance to the museums included in the complex. We recommend you keep your ticket until the end of your visit, which can also be carried out on different days, depending on the validity of your Firenzecard, but without being able to visit the same museum twice. Remember that the ticket cannot be issued again and visits, to any museums not yet visited, will not be allowed.

Firenzecard holders can enter through the priority access door only with a booking for an appointed time (this booking applies to any minors included in the Card too). For Firenzecard customers, time slots are always guaranteed for priority entry.

The reservation can be made:

  1. Phoning the Firenze Musei call centre +39 055 294883 (from 8:30am to 6:30 pm from Monday to Friday; from 8:30 to 12:30pm on Saturday; closed on Sunday and holidays) by providing name and surname, you receive a reservation code with which you can redeem the booking confirmation as described in the following point 2.
  2. Going in person to one of the following ticket offices: Orsanmichele ticket office, inside the Church of Orsanmichele, entrance on Via dei Calzaiuoli (from 10:00am to 4:15pm  from Monday to Saturday, closed on Sunday and holidays); Galleria degli Uffizi ticket office (door n.2 and door n.3) (from 09:00am to 5:30pm from Tuesday to Sunday, closed on Monday) showing the Firenzecard or its voucher, you can book (in case you have already booked by phone, you provide the reservation code) and collect the booking confirmation to be shown together with the Firenze Card at the priority access door of the museum when you visit it at the appointed time and date.
  3. Going in person to one of the following ticket offices: Galleria degli Uffizi (door n.2 only), Museo Nazionale del Bargello, Palazzo Pitti, you can purchase Firenzecard and, at the same time, book and collect the booking confirmation to be shown together with the Firenzecard at the priority access door of the museum when you visit it at the appointed time and date.

With Firenzecard, it is possible to enter each of the circuit museums, one time only.

App

No, you can no longer edit your data after confirming it and generating your digital card.  

To get your digital Firenzecard/Firenzecard+, simply: 1) purchase the card/s online at www.firenzecard.it; 2) download Firenzecard App from Google Play and Itunes stores on your cell phone/tablet; ; 3) click “add a card” and input the voucher number (13 digits) received by email; 4) click “download card” and confirm/edit your data. Please remember to activate the card/s when you enter the first Circuit museum and/or just before getting on the first public means of transportation.

Firenzecard app, available on Google Play and Itunes stores and downloadable for free, is: 1) a guide containing all useful information on the museums of Firenzecard Circuit and sales offers reserved to Firenzecard+ holders; 2) a digital card that will allow you to benefit of all the advantages reserved to the holders, directly from your smartphone. To transform the guide in digital card, simply: 1) purchase the card/s online at www.firenzecard.it; 2) create your digital card by inputting the voucher number (13 digits) received via email.

To visit the Circuit museums, simply access the “Museums” section. The App will show the list of museums available. You can search them by entering the name of the museum, by proximity, accepting to detect the GPS position of your device, or see the most popular museums. Simply select the Museum that you wish to visit and click “begin the tour”.

To create Firenzecard/Firenzecard+, simply: 1) install Firenzecard App, downloadable from Google Play and Itunes stores; click “add a card” and input the voucher number (13 digits) received by email; 3) click “download card” and confirm/edit your data. Please remember to activate the card/s when you enter the first Circuit museum and/or just before getting on the first public means of transportation.

Collection

In order to pick up Firenzecard purchased online, the client must present the printed purchase voucher and a valid identity document. If you wish to have the card picked up by third parties, the person in charge to pick up the card must feature a buyer’s proxy and copy of the document of the delegating party, which will be acquired at the counter.

Replacement and refund

No, if you uninstall and re-install the app on the same device or other devices, your digital card will no longer be valid, neither replaceable nor refundable. Therefore, be careful not to uninstall it.

The physical Firenzecard can be replaced only in case of malfunctioning, provided that the card has not been personalized, damaged or used. The Firenzecard and Firenzecard+ generated in digital format through app cannot be replaced or released again in case the app is uninstalled and re-installed on your device.

 

 

No, Firenzecard cannot be replaced in these cases. Therefore, we strongly recommend to store the card with care, paying attention not to damage or lose it.

The user has the right to withdraw within 14 days from purchasing the card, as set forth by art. 52  of Legislative Decree no. 206/2005. After this term, the card will no longer be refundable. If the card is not picked up within 6 months or is picked after said term, the price of the card paid online will not be refundable. Moreover, the right of withdrawal can be exercised according to the terms foreseen, provided that the card has not been activated or personalized by writing your name, and provided it is returned intact, complete with kit in all its parts and proof of purchase. The right to refund will be lost when using any of the services related to the card. Firenzecard and Firenzecard+ generated in “digital” form through app downloaded on your mobile are and remain connected to the operation of your device. Requests of indemnity or card replacements are not accepted in case of malfunctioning linked to the mobile device used by the client or uninstallation of Firenzecard app, after completing the download of the card on your device. It is not possible to enter a voucher code already used on another app in another device.
