Firenzecard Restart allows you to extend the validity of any expired Firenzecard by 48 hours. Firenzecard Restart can only be used if you have bought the Firenzecard in the last 12 months and your card has expired, and it requires you to use the Firenzecard app. Like your original card, Firenzecard Restart includes free access for children associated to your card. Use Restart to visit museums that you have not visited yet. Restart can be activated once the original card is expired, either immediately after, or for a subsequent visit.

Firenzecard is only available at the full rate of €85, though minors under age 18 who are part of your family can be added to the card for free. Further discounts and/or reductions are not foreseen. Therefore, we recommend consulting the sites of the single museums that you intend to visit to find out about any discounts and free admissions for students or seniors.

There is not a free Firenzecard, because otherwise-abled persons and their guides are entitled free admission to most circuit museums, with priority access. Firenzecard features only one full-rate fee. If you are disabled, please note that you must bring and show to the museum staff an appropriate medical certificate indicating your disability.

Group access may be regulated at some museums in the Florence museum circuit. Updated group admission information can be found on each museum’s official website.
The following is current information on group entry to some museums included in the Firenzecard circuit.

No, Firenzecard is personal, registered to your name and cannot be transferred to third parties. Before use, you must personalize the physical card with your name while on the app, the card is registered to your personal data.

No. Firenzecard is mainly intended for single tourists or small groups and at the moment, there is no other rate other than the full fee or a card for groups. In many museums, students and their teachers are given a free or reduced entry fee based on the age of the students and the type of school or academic curriculum. We advise checking the individual website of the museum you intend to visit for the terms of entry both for groups and school groups.
